One Wondrous Christmas

<p><span>Christmas Eve is coming soon but there is no joy in the Kriegen home. A year prior Clara lost her husband Joshua to a sudden heart attack leaving their son eleven-year-old Donald without a father. </span><br /><br /><span>Now Clara and Donald both feel lost and Clara is dreading Christmas. When yet another tragedy strikes she can’t help but question the goodness of God. How could God take her husband away? How could He take her son’s dog just before Christmas? How could He leave them so alone? </span><br /><br /><span>Just when things seem darkest however a bit of good luck lands on their front porch. A mother and daughter want to rent the old cottage in the Kriegen backyard and Clara certainly needs the cash. </span><br /><br /><span>There’s something different about Miriam Schenken and her daughter Shirley. When Donald falls ill they seem to be Clara’s saving grace. Christmas seems like it might be a disaster and yet a miracle occurs that reignites Clara’s passion for her loving God. The holiday season is a time to rejoice and give thanks. It is a time for miracles … if only we believe.</span></p>
