Open Mic Travels

A musical adventure and a journey through a landscape of open mics back street venues and interesting characters. This is a travel log of one man's adventure in the underbelly of Britain's creative soup of singer song writers musicians poets comedians duets and bands. Visiting places such as Coventry Bridgend Glasgow Wakefield Leeds Edinburgh Bristol Halifax London Manchester Llandudno Sheffield Brighton Huddersfield and Birmingham NEC (Britain's Got Talent) the writer not only listens to and reflects on what is going on but also takes part experiencing the highs and lows of music making in a society where change is omnipresent.
