<center><b> Erosion</b></center>You are the tide and I am the beach. <br>No matter how scarred and ugly you wash over me cleansing me making me feel new. <br>You are sometimes rough churning me up and mixing me around but always leave me settled and whole. <br>You are also sometimes smooth coasting in and caressing the surface of my matter. <br>You erode the sand castle walls away never fearing what's behind them. <br>I see you coming over me and for a moment we become one. <br>And even though you sweep back out again there is never a doubt that you will return. <br>The relationship symbiotic benefiting us both. For you are part of me and I am part of you. <br>Without me you would be just a still body of water with no beginning and no end. <br>Without you I would be just a barren desert lifeless and alone.</p><P> <center><b> Night and Day</b></center>Being awake feels like prison. <br>Sleep is a blissful escape. <br>No boundaries. <br>Just following the moving play that is a dream. <br>But the bridge is terrifying to cross. <br>No laws no morals no ruling class no powers that be. <br>Being awake makes me wonder if I am living life or just doing time.</p>
