Many Women Were Striking Out On Their Own At This Time. I Was Eager To Join Them. As The Generation That Took Women Out Of The Home And Into The Workplace Our Silent Generation Needed More Skills In Setting Boundaries And Taking Up For Ourselves. We Were Used To Being Told “It’S Not ‘Lady-Like’ To Speak ‘Out Of Turn.” Many Challenges Were Part Of My Journey But There Was A Lot Of Fun And Adventure Too.. The Time Period Shown In This Book Follows The Caustic 1960S And Moves Beyond. As You Read You Will Hopefully Recall Some Good Memories Of Your Own. Nostalgia Is Powerful!
