The adaptability of its personnel its human flexibility depends to a large extent on its ability to choose people to prepare them for new functions and to assign them judiciously taking into account their aspirations and potential abilities. Moreover mentalities are changing in particular attitudes towards work and authority. Work is no longer simply a source of salary and possibly social prestige but should bring personal development and enrichment. As for authority it can no longer be considered as an absolute value linked to hierarchical position; it is increasingly based on competence. It has been rightly said that those who have authority leave the place to those who do authority.As the workforce becomes better educated its expectations increase particularly with respect to the opportunities that an organization can provide for individual and professional growth.
