Opinions of UG and PG of Alumni of Home Science Vadodara

Home Science is an applied science and is quite different from other disciplines; therefore the investigator felt a need to conduct a study on opinions of Undergraduate /Postgraduate Alumni of Faculty of Family and Community Sciences regarding Home Science as a field of study. It is the pass out students who are the actual consumers of the services rendered by the Educational Institutions. Hence it is important to know their opinion regarding the field of study. The Faculty of Home Science and now Faculty of Family and Community Sciences revise its curriculum both at Under-Graduate as well as Post-Graduate level of study to meet the needs of the time. Presently attempts are being made at the Faculty of Home Science to equip students to become vocationally more viable so as to help them in getting gainful employment. The present book will help in getting the feedback from the alumni students in terms of their opinion regarding Home Science as a field of study through which curriculum can be enriched by integration with other disciplines and helping students to provide a better quality of life. It will also help the administration and the teaching of the Home Science.
