The Story ‘Aut’ (Issueless) Was Included By Dr. Gurbux Singh Frank In His Collection Containing Punjabi Short Stories Of New & Upcoming Writers Of The Time Titled ‘Sajjrian Pairan’ (New Footprints) Published By Sahit Academy Delhi In 1998. The Story ‘Opri Hawa’ (Mysterious Ailment) Found A Place In The Collection Of Stories Edited By Dr. Raghbir Singh Sirjana Named ‘Veehwin Sadi Di Punjabi Kahani’(Punjabi Storries Of The 20Th Century) Published By Sahit Academy Delhi (2000). The Stories ‘Opri Hawa’ ‘Honeymoon’ And ‘Aut’ Have Been Individually Awarded By Different Institutions. The Doordarshan Kender Jalandhar Prepared A Telefilm On The Story ‘Adam And Eve’ Named ‘Wapsi’ Telecast In 1997. All The Stories In This Book Have Been Translated Into Hindi English And Other Indian Languages. In The Preface Of This Book Dr. Jaswinder Singh Has Written “Baldev Singh Dhaliwal Has Gained Special Distinction Among The Story Writers Of The New Generation Who Have Endeavored To Explore And Chisel Out New Features Of The Modern Punjabi Story.”
