Eligibility Criteria for OPSC Civil Services ExamTo be eligible to apply for the OPSC Civil Services exam candidates must fulfill certain educational qualifications age limits and other requirements. Here are the main eligibility criteria:Educational Qualifications:The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.The candidate should have knowledge of the Odia language and must be able to read write and speak in Odia. Selection ProcessThe selection process for the OPSC Civil Services exam is carried out in three stages:Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Prelims)The Prelims exam is a qualifying exam that consists of two papers:General Studies Paper I: This paper tests the candidate's general knowledge awareness of current affairs and basic understanding of national and international issues.General Studies Paper II (CSAT - Civil Services Aptitude Test): This paper evaluates the candidate’s aptitude for problem-solving reasoning ability decision-making and English comprehension.Note: To qualify for the Mains exam candidates need to secure a minimum required cutoff in the Prelims exam.
