Optimal Location of FACTS Devices to Improve Power Systems performance

This work is a summary of 5 years of patience and efforts of collecting information and data for types of FACTS and types of optimization methods for increasing system stability and reducing system overloading and losses. all algorithms system data and program files are presented in this work. Moreover some proposed modification is developed in UPFC for reducing the voltage overshoot of the device insertion.
