Optimization of crane location by visualizing the site's heatmap

Efficiency of cranes largely depends on their location and the supply points position which together have significant contribution to the project completion time. The existing methods suffer from some shortcomings which make them unpractical and therefore the current trend in practice for crane positioning is to rely on experience than a technique. Hence the present book proposes a model to find the optimum crane and supply point locations in the construction site and the associated minimum completion time. The proposed model generates a heatmap diagram of the whole site and visualizes the optimum solutions.
