Micro small and medium-sized enterprises undoubtedly form the basis of the Austrian economy. Due to demographic economic technological and social change companies are constantly confronted with structural and personnel challenges in terms of their organisational development and design. In the area of human resources in particular it is becoming increasingly difficult for SMEs to keep up with the attractive working conditions offered by modern companies and to find qualified personnel. In which areas can SMEs in Austria take the first steps towards organisational and human resources development in order to develop as dynamic organisations and thus be able to react more flexibly to current and future influences in the business environment?
