Organizational culture of a regional university in the post-Soviet period

The problem of modernization and development of the organizational culture of Russian universities including corporate standards style traditions and norms of intraorganizational relations is one of the most actively discussed by both the scientific community and the general public. It is the organizational culture that constructs the symbolic and value space of the university determines the patterns of relationships between educational and structural units and agents of the university social system. In this context it becomes obvious that the university''s success its competitiveness and attractiveness largely depends on the level of development of organizational culture the strengthening of which will have a positive impact on the development of the higher education system both in Russia as a whole and within individual regions.
