Organizational Silence

OS is a phenomenon in business organizations of all types and sizes. It means that employees tend to be silent about the important issues in the organization. The negative effects of silence may be direct or indirect. Silence directly affects the performance of the business because of the lack of flow of the important information to the top administrative levels which reduces the chances of renewal and development in the workplace. On the other hand it can indirectly affect the employees of an organization as the employees who tend to silence may suffer from tensions and some mental or psychological problems.
