ORIF vs External Fixation for Distal Radius Intra Articular Fractures
English

About The Book

This study was performed to analyse different data collected from a variety of studies accomplished in different countries to evaluate the difference in outcome of open reduction and internal fixation using locked plates and the use of external fixation in treatment of distal radius comminuted intra articular fractures. This was a comparative study and meta analysis between all studies published in the past twenty years related to this problem. The recommendations at the end of this study is profoundly valuable for all orthopaedic surgeons who are interested in treatment of this mode of trauma and find it tricky to choose between the two treatment modalities.
