Orion Four: 5 (Birth of the Gods)

Orion Four is the fifth book in the Birth of the Gods series. Major Asheru Mastaba feels lucky to be chosen as one of the astronauts to pilot this giant starship across the Milky Way Galaxy. What makes this even better is that she will be working under the finest officer shes ever known Commander Noah Saqqara. Noah himself is sure hes the one MSA astronaut perfectly suited to command this mission yet he has doubts about going. His wife Menes was recently diagnosed with cancer so she cant leave. The journey begins with flybys of the largest planets in their own solar system CM Draconis. These flybys will accelerate them to sub-light speed. However they are extremely dangerous because the starship might be torn apart by the powerful gravitational fields of these monster planets. Commander Noah Saqqara knows the dangers. However this 46.7 light year journey is very important. It will confirm the Mayan peoples migration 3000 years ago from the planet Mars in the Orion Belt of the galaxy to their current home planet Hyksos in Constellation Draco.
