<p>James Benedict was born shortly after WWII as a baby boomer. Grew-up in Maine</p><p>and went to the Main Maritime Academy graduating with a BS degree in Engineering</p><p>Commission for the United States Navy and License as a Third Engineer. After shipping</p><p>on the seas to Africa entered a Benedictine Monastery to study for the priesthood</p><p>and took the name of Br. James hence the pen name of James Benedict. He worked</p><p>for Internationa Paper for 34 years in various management positions. His passions</p><p>in life taught him a Reverence for God Respect for life and Honor to strive to do</p><p>right. In the twilight of his life he very much enjoys his grandchildren and writing.</p>
