Our Lady Mediatrix of All Graces

Every genuine Catholic regards Mary as indeed his Mother - his spiritual Mother to be sure that is in the order of grace but none the less as in a very true sense holding towards him the place of a mother and fulfilling in his regard the functions of the tenderest of mothers. The whole question of Mary's mediation in the matter of grace has been carefully and lovingly studied as to whether or not the universal mediation of Our Lady is capable of being defined as a dogma of faith. It is the author's aim in the pages of this book to set forth as clearly as may be the traditional view of the Catholic Church with regard to Mary's place in the plan of the Redemption and to point out the implications in such a way as to show that we are here face to face with no mere pious opinion but with a truth that belongs to the deposit of divine revelation.
