<p>Lives entwine spanning a millennium. As a child Ailie Belanger of noble birth is inspired by spiders and their webs. Leon was born in Ireland and immigrates with his family to Australia. He grows up in an adjacent suburb their paths crossing but they never properly meet until they find each other on the other side of the world. </p><p>When the modern couple travel to Normandy they have the distinct feeling that they have been there before. They encounter significant people from their former lives who become meaningful friends in their current life.</p>
