<p><strong>Asahi</strong> is living with the ghosts of his past while running the massively successful video game company Adder Inc. His creation Ouroboros was meant to be his escape but instead it has become a labyrinth of intrigue and danger. Vanished playtesters cryptic threats and a growing sense of paranoia suggest that something sinister is lurking beneath the surface of the game-something that may be watching him.</p><p>Meanwhile Li has been forcibly grounded back in China punished by her father the powerful crime lord known as Baba. Stripped of her freedom she finds herself entangled once more in the expectations of her family's empire and in the unwanted company of Bo her old boyfriend and heir to the Purple Wings syndicate.</p><p>As <em>Ouroboros</em> expands and reality fractures Asahi and Li must navigate their respective prisons-one digital one physical-before the forces closing in on them erase their past present and future forever.</p>
