'OUT HERE IN THE STARS

<p class=ql-align-center>In the early years of the twenty-first century many older gay men having survived a devastating pandemic (AIDS) may have found themselves dealing with a sense of survivor guilt if only with having to answer these two quandaries:</p><p class=ql-align-center><strong><em>Why am I here? </em></strong><em>        &          </em><strong><em>Why did I survive?���</em></strong></p><p class=ql-align-center>Here is the story of two gay men New York theater professionals living in the epicenter of AIDS which is decimating their community. </p><p class=ql-align-center>Harold and James live together in a mutually beneficial monogamous HIV-negative and loving relationship </p><p class=ql-align-center>for almost fifteen years. On a rainy April Fools' Day that love is abruptly challenged with the diagnosis of a fatal illness which is not AIDS related. </p><p class=ql-align-center>Their circle of existence grows tighter as they struggle unsuccessfully toward inevitable loss.</p><p class=ql-align-center><strong><em>Yet in that loss surprisingly positive things are found.</em></strong></p>
