Out of Delmarva

The Delmarva Peninsula is the point of departure for a richly visual and tactile world full of seaside fantasy hopes and fears--human and animal resident and transitory. We may glimpse vacationers and their footprints in the sand but only as a small part of the mosaic. Text in verse is interspersed with black and white photo-poems bringing us on a journey through the region and beyond. The work is rooted in genuine maritime salt and there is a collective memory of heritage and aspirations rendered in a very distinctive literary voice.
