Out of the Darkness

<p style=text-align: justify;><strong>Timothy James Mahfood</strong> a 17 year old senior at The American International School of Kingston Jamaica whose passion is writing. In August 2013 Timothy was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder an illness his grandfather Ferdinand Mahfood has suffered from his whole life as well. With his grandfather’s support and guidance Timothy has worked to fight his way <em>“Out of the Darkness.”</em> His writing explains what he has been through and how he has suffered. His hope is that his words will open the world’s eyes to what others with his disorder are going through and their need for understanding and help.</p>
