Out of the Woods

Scott lay in bed remembering the day. It had been such fun to win the prize and he was looking forward to being there to present the check to the community kitchen. He had spent the afternoon with his friends visiting the games and food trucks in the yard of the school where the town was celebrating the 4th of July. His mom had brought folding chairs and a blanket to watch the fireworks display. It had been a long day and Scott was tired. HooHooHoot Hoot Hoot he heard out the window.Must be an owl out there he though as he fell asleep.
