Output feedback nonlinear controller is to regulate the output voltage of the buck-boost converter. The bilinear model of the converter is considered for both observer and controller design. A luenberger-like observer is designed to estimate the inductor current from the output voltage while a nonlinear state feedback controller is designed based on the Lyapunov technique. The closed-loop controller together with observer is evaluated through both numerical simulations and experimental results.
