Outrageously Cool Nurses

<I>Outrageously Cool - Nurses!</I> helps young children learn the wonderful opportunities presented by a career in nursing. Each chapter describes a different type of nursing that engages readers in important and exciting happenings such as learning about where nursing came from finding out about nursing in Egypt coming to know a tiny newborn in a remote area of Alaska and finding out what military nursing is like. The nurse authors students in a Nurses as Writers class at George Mason University have created a book that they hope will interest young children in a nursing career.<p>
