He met the girl Juxiang in the countryside and his wife Suying was wary and jealous of the two so Jin Danran deliberately distanced himself from Juxiang. Juxiang's father is a gambler who wants to sell Juxiang. Juxiang and her mother hide in other villages to live. When Su Ying returned to the city for shopping Jin Danran was inspecting the countryside and happened to meet Ju Xiang. He intervened and sent Ju Xiang to work school. Later on Su Ying found rural life too boring and Jin Danran also had friends in the city to help him which led to a higher position. When Jin Danran went to the city again he invited Juxiang to watch a movie together. After watching the movie Su Ying appeared in the back row of the two.
