<p>The dominant society throughout history has consistentlyexploited the aboriginal people who stood between them andwhat they wanted.</p><p>To understand the aboriginal people one has to understand thehistory of what has happened. Too often history almostcompletely ignores the story of the aboriginal people. At bestthey become a footnote to the history of the dominant people.</p><p>This story attempts to tell a story from the aboriginalprospective. This is one small piece of Canadian history.</p>
