<p>In 1920s India in the secluded village of Vedhandhur 11-year-old Kanjan lived under the iron rule of his father&mdash;a man who dictated every aspect of their society. One fateful event sparked a burning question in Kanjan&rsquo;s mind: &ldquo;What is s*x?&rdquo;</p><p>Determined to find answers he sets out to watch an adult film in the nearby settlement of Kattur Hamlet. Unlike Vedhandhur Kattur is a vibrant hub of art and culture yet its people endure oppression water scarcity and the burden of being deemed inferior by the ruling hamlets.
