Palliative physiotherapy in a sociocultural comparison

This paper is based on extensive literature research and examines the differences between palliative physiotherapy in Nigeria and Austria. Unlike Austria where palliative care including physiotherapy is firmly anchored in the healthcare system there is no such legal regulation of palliative care in Nigeria. The major cultural differences between the two countries also have a significant impact on the implementation and feasibility of palliative physiotherapy.
