Pancreatic Cystic Tumors: Recent Diagnostic and Therapeutic Progress

In this book we present a potentially recent overview of progress in cystic pancreatic tumors. We hope that this will help students to understand this pathology.Cystic tumors of the pancreas (CTPs) are a group of heterogeneous entities constitute 2-10% of pancreatic lesions. The most common types are intracanalar papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) mucocystic neoplasm (MCN) and serous cystic neoplasm (SCN) which represent about 90% of CTPs.
