Pandemic Preparedness and Response Strategies

<p>Drawing on case studies from the Republic of Korea Thailand and Viet Nam this publication highlights successful strategies mechanisms and innovations in early coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic response in Asia and the Pacific.</p><p><br></p><p>Across the region diverse approaches are being taken to mitigate COVID-19. The case studies presented here focus on analyzing pandemic-related challenges in the context of universal health coverage. They identify and describe good practices and lessons learned in emergency and crisis planning management and coordination along with whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches to pandemic response.</p>
