The book also highlights Kuki folktales such as  1. Khupting and Ngambom (the immortal lovers) 2. Lenchonghoi (the fate of an exceptionally beautiful damsel) 3. Kolkang Landslide (about a mysterious landslide in which the whole village was carried away except for the hut of a poor widow) 4. Kuki (Among the poems “Kuki” is the longest one with 153 stanzas written about the life of the Kukis in olden times their customs traditions religion and culture depicted through the protagonist Kuki).
