The reasons behind climate change:  A major part of climate change occurs naturally. We need to keep stock of what man has done to accelerate these changes and what should be our action plan now to retard these changes. Anthropogenic or human activities including human reproduction overconsumption overexploitation pollution and deforestation caused damage (either directly or indirectly) to the environment on a global scale. Two hundred years ago the world population was just over one billion. Since then the number of people on the planet grew more than 7-fold to 7.7 billion in 2019.Improved technology used for harvesting food coupled with the technology of improved sanitation has accelerated the growth of the human population. A larger human population has increased the impact on the environment and its resources many of which are limited and non renewable. Industries need power which has been generated primarily by burning fossil fuel consuming water wood etc.How people can combat climate change: People power provides miraculous strength to the countries and the world provided the people are trained (a) to control the growth of population (b) reduce the need for generating energy needed to provide goods and services to the people and (c) generate energy from natural sources like sunlight wind and water
