Parents' Guide to the Basics Manual

This guide does not seek to take the place of the teacher but to offer support and ideas for the use of parents and children at home in order to re-inforce and expand upon the work done in school.It asks that at first children should put aside their calculators and work out answers independently so that they clearly understand the actual processes of what they are doing.Regular daily practice in basic skills will build up confidence and help to avoid any emotional blocks while learning maths in the future.
