This discussion between Socrates Parmenides and Zeno of Elea is one of Plato's more difficult and enigmatic dialogues. It starts with Zeno defending his dissertation on Parmenidean monism against those proponents of plurality. With the notes and glossary intended to provide the reader a feel of the vocabulary and concepts as they were understood by Plato's immediate audience the Focus Philosophical Library translations are close to the original text and are not interpretative.
