Part II

In Part I: Beauty for Ashes the author introduced us to a style of poetry meant to minister to our souls. A style of poetry that is meant to bring healing and comfort to the brokeness many of us feel. Taken from Isaiah 61: 3 Part II: Oil of Joy continues the message where Part I: Beauty for Ashes left off: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion to give unto them beauty for ashes the oil of joy for mourning... Each poem is written with this purpose in mind as the collection addresses issues from relationship with God selfand others to dealing with the death of a loved one. Through all of life's struggles it is important to know that even in the midst of our worst storm Our Father in Heaven continues to rain down from above that annointed oil that gives us unspeakable joy!
