Partial removable prosthesis impressions

For both aesthetic and functional reasons our patients need to consider replacing missing teeth. Today there are many prosthetic solutions available for both partially edentulous and edentulous patients. Partial removable prostheses are still the solution of choice. Indeed even if fixed prostheses are for many an ideal solution thanks to their aesthetic and comfort advantages and the increasingly popular implant solution it is still often unavoidable to have recourse to a removable solution and this will continue to be the case in the years to come. The design and fabrication of a removable partial denture is of paramount importance and duplication of the patient's anatomical structures is the most important element to be provided to the dental technician. This book covers both anatomical and anatomo-functional impressions the latter providing the casts on which removable prosthesis frames are built. This book covers the techniques and materials used for this purpose.
