Passion Fruit

Set in idyllic Japanese villages before the Edo period the book draws parallels between human nature and Mother Nature all while showing how distinct they truly are. From the story of a child obsessed with heavenly nymphs to a glimpse inside the minds of a family hopelessly stuck overnight “passion fruit” is a tapestry woven of poems and stories where a lonely girl resembles the dark night and two grandfathers meet two different fates.
