Patients' Perceptions Regarding Surgical Nursing Care
English

About The Book

This book has been written to reflect on the study findings on patients'' perceptions regarding nursing care in a surgical ward or unit. It was noted that patients base their perceptions upon the type of communication nurses made and what nurses were doing to them while they were receiving care. Patients’ perceptions were influenced by how nurses were conducting themselves towards patients. The need to improve nurses’ interpersonal skills and relationships and behavior towards patients was recommended.
