Paudey

<p>In Urdu most of the poetic and prose genres were included under the influence of the West. One such prose genre is reportage. It moved forward with the progressive movement. Reportage is a journalistic genre it was used as a literary genre only in Urdu literature. Krishan Chander wrote reportage in 1947 under the name Paudey (Plants). This effort of his was conscious and he presented it as reportage. After that a series of reportage writings started in Urdu.</p><p>/</p><p>اردو میں اکثر شعری و نثری اصناف مغرب کے زیر اثر شامل ہوئیں۔ ایسی ہی ایک نثری صنف رپورتاژ ہے۔ جو ترقی پسند تحریک کے ساتھ آگے بڑھی۔ رپورتاژ صحافتی صنف ہے اسے بطور ادبی صنف صرف اردو ادب میں برتا گیا۔ کرشن چندر نے پودے کے نام سے 1947ء میں رپورتاژ لکھا۔ ان کی یہ کوشش شعوری تھی اور انہوں نے اسے رپورتاژ ہی کہہ کر پیش کیا۔ اس کے بعد اردو میں رپورتاژ نگاری کا ایک سلسلہ شروع ہو گیا۔</p>
