Depression can lead to suicide which is responsible for killing over 700 000 people yearly. Approximately 280 million people in the world have depression and among them maximum are women. Women are twice as susceptible to suffering from depression as compared to men. Due to a lack of financial independence unequal power relationships in societies and families and social stigma related to mental disorders women with depression and other common mental disorders are less likely to get proper help and hence end up leading a miserable life. This book aims to help women by empowering them with various techniques of mental wellbeing through raising awareness about the mind and healing and using it efficiently through different life situations. This book does not replace medical treatment.  It is an endeavor to offer a holistic approach to achieving psychological wellbeing that supports a healthy and happy life.
