25 years after my father passed away I came across a draft of a book he started. My editing and publishing leaves much of the original text intact and only clarifies or adds informative detail where necessary. I was proud and honoured to take this up where my father left off. Many books have been written about the Canadian sailors who fought in World War II in ships and the airmen who flew against the enemy in the sky but there have not been many books written about the young Canadians who engaged the enemy in tanks.
