Peace with All - AKBAR - The First Interfaith Mogul King

<p>The Great Mogul Emperor Akbar who lived in the 15th Century was the first King who brought the idea of interfaith tolerance into Indian polity. He introduced debate crossing religious lines between Muslims Hindus Christians Jains Zoroastrians and Sikhs. He eased the sociopolitical tensions for non-Muslims by rescinding taxes on pilgrims who were living in Hindustan. His amazing transformation from a brutal warrior to a philosopher King offers transformative hope to all beings.</p><p><br></p><p>His respect for the great Sufi Masters influenced his ideas so deeply that he became an architect of religiously shared spiritual principles. He believed that Sufis had an authentic approach to religious tolerance because they found wisdom through their experiences. Sufis did not blindly follow precepts that divided religious practitioners as they were somatically motivated to find truth in all directions of life and philosophy and for Akbar this fact supported his vision of the Din-i-Illahi the shared spiritual gatherings that would bring his ideal forward for Peace with All.</p>
