This work aims to contribute significantly to the construction of a critical view of planning and pedagogical mediation in distance learning courses. We present the distance learning course in Education offered by the University of Brasília as a stage for analysis and reflection. Our interest in the topic arose because we understand that in the face of New Information Communication and Expression Technologies (NTICE) new ways of understanding research planning execution and evaluation of old pedagogical practices in distance education are also necessary. In this sense we understand that integrating distance education as a growing teaching modality in the construction of pedagogical knowledge means seeking this new position in which it is possible to create learn about and reflect on new pedagogies.
