Now that we know its multifaceted clinical course complications concerning the kidneys and childhood-specific post-COVID pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome (PIMS) the value of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in the pediatric area should be appreciated and their importance ought to increase.</p>
