Pediatric burns

In children burns are frequent injuries caused by contact and/or exposure to heated substances such as gases solids and liquids injury from electricity injury from chemical agents or radiation. Disruption of the skin's integrity can result in a cascade of events that culminates in the deposition of a collagen-rich matrix i.e. sequelae.
