It was interesting to watch how the British colleagues accepted their Indian counterparts in the Field and more so in Planters Clubs which were their Home away from Home 6000 miles away.The book takes his readers through the U.K. and USA as well as Far East as a Tourist especially through Hongkong and finally to Japan a very advanced Asian country which is interesting and informative. Finally the authors entry into owning a Tea Estate and Company in collaboration with his son and their experiences thereafter. About the Author: Prabhash Kumar Basu PK to his friends and colleagues is one of the pioneer Indian Tea Planter in the erstwhile purely British set up in post-independent India. He had a meteoric rise to join the Board of Directors of this Tea Company he joined in 1955 within a span of 25 years. Post-retirement his Advisory services were acclaimed by the Industry in Assam Cachar and the Dooars and finally took him to South African Mugwa Tea Estate also on an Advisory visit on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Finally in collaboration with his son purchased a closed Tea Estate in the Dooars India and revived it. He was centenary Chairman Dooars Branch Indian Tea Association and also Chairman Area Scientific Committee of Tea Research Association India.
