Pepita

When a British woman recently landed in Barcelona meets an elderly Catalan lady they seem to not have much more in common than a fondness for old films and foot rubs. A lot of the time they don't fully understand what the other is talking about. But when Pepita is taken ill time slows down and the two have a chance to get to know each other in strange new ways - through shared jokes misunderstandings storytelling and some surreal poetic encounters and what started as a little seed becomes something that surprises both of them and bears witness to a Barcelona of years gone by.
