About The Book

Research carried out with the aim of verifying students' knowledge and difficulties in differentiating Dengue Zika and Chikungunya. Through qualitative and quantitative research. The aim of this work is to demonstrate through qualitative and quantitative research that the use of playful activities tends to intensify teaching about Dengue Zika and Chikungunya in order to improve the quality of information and fix the content. An intervention was carried out in a public school with 9th grade primary school students. A pre-test was carried out to check the students' knowledge of the three parasitic diseases: Dengue Zika and Chikungunya followed by a lecture with images and figures then a game called Race against Aedes and a post-test. The results of this research show how important it is to use an alternative methodology to improve knowledge. Aiming to provide information in the school environment about the aforementioned diseases and preventive measures to control their spread.
