During the period of political violence that our country experienced multiple dimensions of national life were affected. One of the consequences was the impact on education. From the beginning the Shining Path used some of the sectors of the educational system to spread its ideas and recruit militants. Schools and universities were used by this terrorist organization each in a different way. On the other hand many Peruvians were unable to attend school or university for various reasons. These range from the death of parents to the abandonment of educational institutions in territories where political violence took place (Reynaga 2008). In this sense education which is a fundamental right of every person was violated in various ways. Research points out as the main psychosocial consequences of political violence: fear mistrust anxiety depression feeling of humiliation and devaluation emotional and intellectual capacities were blocked damage to personal identity loss of memory frequent forgetfulness.
